About the Northwest Electric Meter School
The Northwest Electric Meter School seeks to further the educational skills of electric metering apprentices and journeymen through industry expert lectures and hands-on laboratory training spanning the basics of electronic metering theory, AMI and high-end meter applications. Students are divided into five groups according to their level of experience: Single Phase Metering, Polyphase Metering, Electronic Metering I & II, and Advanced Metering. The school accommodates 270 students.

By popular demand, service companies will continue to give you an informative look at the newest in metering technology. Check out the displays on Tuesday from 11:30 am to 3:15pm.

Networking Opportunity

Continuing Education Credits
Participants may earn CEU credits through NSCC, the program's co-sponsor, for a $15 fee. Attendance at all sessions of your group and completion of the final exam are mandatory.
  Handbook for Metering & ANSI C12-1
Purchase the 10th edition of the Handbook for Electricity Metering for $108, the ANSI C12-I book for $114, or the Pocket Guide to Watthour Meters for $15 at the school. Add $3.00 shipping & handling per book if ordered directly from Western Energy Institute. Click here to order.

 
School Registration
All Class Sizes Are Limited! Group I, Group II and Group III are FULL! Please contact Marilyn Harrington at 971 255-4969 directly for status of wait lists for these groups.
Course fee is $350 USD. After August 2, 2010, add $25. Fee includes lunch Monday through Thursday and dinner on Tuesday Evening.
 
EMS Group IV - Electronic Metering II Registration
Advanced functions in electronic metering and program development. Bring your laptop computer, optical probe, AC adapter and strong meter magnet. Attendees must download lab-specific software Monday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., or online prior to school. Laptops must have administrative rights to install software.
(Maximum number of students = 50)
EMS Group V - Advanced Metering Registration
In-depth discussion of electronic metering theory and high end meter applications.

EMS Booth Assistant Registration
Cost is $25.00 per person for each additional person working your booth. This will cover lunch and the evening barbecue costs to the school. Booth Assistant registration may be completed once the main vendor display representative has been registered.
Refund Policy
Enrollment charge less $50 will be refunded if the cancellation notice is received on or prior to August 2, 2010. After that date, a 50% refund will be granted. No refunds to registrants who fail to cancel prior to the School's opening. If you are unable to attend, you or your company may send a replacement.
